EasyBlend™ Classic software automatically creates seamless high-intensity, high-resolution edge-blended displays on flat screens for a broad range of commercial projection applications such as training, video gaming, digital signage, museums and Houses of Worship.

EasyBlend Classic is most often used by systems integrators, ProAV dealers, rental and staging and exhibit firms. EasyBlend Classic is also popular with video artists and interactive media firms.

The patented technique for geometric distortion correction and color matching is a digital approach which allows users to create displays that simply can't be engineered by conventional mechanical or optical means.

EasyBlend FX FOR CURVED SCREEN GEOMETRY

EasyBlend FX is the turbo version of our geometric calibration engine EasyBlend. The FX platform introduces support for screens which are of a complex geometry such as domes, cylinders, toroids and more.

EasyBlend FX is most often used by simulation and training systems integrators.

Geometric Precision

EasyBlend FX supports precision geometric distortion correction which meets military specifications for accuracy. The challenge with complex screen shapes is the uniform distribution of content across the entire Field of View (FOV). EasyBlend FX meets the challenge head on with tested precision in the range of 1.5% accuracy.

Easyblend FX is a software solution which does not require any custom hardware.

Ease of Use

Easyblend FX has an intuitive user interface with configuration wizards. Displays can be calibrated in minutes after a few menu driven selections.

Calibration is Automatic

Easyblend FX software creates precise seamless displays automatically with the click of a mouse. Non-technical operators can produce the most technically advanced front or rear projected displays quickly with limited training. The combination of our software and a digital camera make for a picture perfect blend every time.

Fits Most Screen Geometries

Easyblend adjusts and corrects projected images on a wide range of screens including: cylinders, domes, articulated screens, immersive caves and collimated screens. Through our simple user interface, users choose from a variety of options to match their specific application.

Tiled and Stacked Displays

Easyblend can be used to tile multiple projectors together side by side in an array. Alternatively, Easyblend can be used in a stacked configuration to increase brightness or for 3D stereo applications. Some applications use both tiling and stacking.

Seamless Integration

Easyblend is integrated wtih a broad set of leading applications and APIs such as: OpenGL, Microsoft DirectX, Dataton WATCHOUT, Scalable Player Software. These integrations operate in real time with no incremenetal latency. Easyblend also integrates with Silicon Optix Image AnyPlace and Whitehorse warping devices.

 

EasyBlend COLOR

EasyBlend Color is Scalable's answer to the long standing challenge of "inter-projector" color matching. EasyBlend Color is a fully automatic color balancing technique in which precise results are achieved through interaction between the color sensor and the projector. Scalable has taken on the task of establishing direct communication with a wide range of projectors via the serial or Ethernet port.

Benefits of EasyBlend Color

EasyBlend Color is superior because the dynamic range of the display is maintained to the greatest extent possible. By raising the "output" of the weaker projectors the entire array benefits by not being drought down to the capabilities of the weakest projector.
